As Adjunct Professor of Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business, he teaches human capital and talent management, guiding future leaders toward impact with warmth and practical insight. Shawn holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from The Catholic University of America, a Master of Music from The Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Music from SMU. He is also certified as a Society for Human Resources – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Hogan Assessments Practitioner, Predictive Index Analyst, and SkillPath Trainer.
