I’m Going to Be the Face of Halloween. Help Me Make It Happen.

I’m excited to share that I’m competing in the Face of Halloween 2026 contest, a competition to determine who will become the next “Face of Halloween”. It’s an opportunity to embrace the darker side of creativity, celebrate the art of transformation, and maybe give people a reason to check over their shoulders just a little more often.

The competition supports the Starlight Children’s Foundation, an organization that brings happiness, comfort, and moments of joy to seriously ill children and their families.

If you know me, you know creativity is a big part of who I am. Through my art and my brand, Multifarious Musing, I enjoy exploring different perspectives, experimenting with ideas, and creating things that make people stop and look twice. Halloween gives me the perfect excuse to take that a little further.

And let’s be honest. Most of us spend the year presenting the version of ourselves the world expects to see. We put on our professional faces, play our parts, and try to look like we have everything under control.

Then Halloween comes along, and suddenly it’s perfectly acceptable to let the weird out. I think we should do that more often.

Why I Want to Win

Of course, the title would be pretty incredible. The $13,000 prize wouldn’t hurt, either. I have plenty of creative ideas that could benefit from a little extra fuel.

But what really appeals to me is the chance to celebrate the imagination, artistry, and theatricality that make Halloween so much fun. I love creating things that provoke a reaction, tell a story, or make someone look twice. This contest is another opportunity to do exactly that.

And if I happen to become the official Face of Halloween along the way? Even better.
