12 Artists…3 Rounds…1 Winner. Almost sounds like Thunderdome, but that’s what a battle is, right? I’m so excited to announce I will be ‘battling’ it out in the Art Battle Dallas on June 8, 2019 in Deep Ellum. All the details are below and in the links. This sounds like a really cool event and should be good time. I hope you can check it out!
I’m excited to be part of the Texas Visual Arts Association Spring Art Fair on Saturday, April 13 from 9am-6pm, at the Plaza of the Americas in downtown Dallas! There will be some amazing artists and some awesome artwork at great prices. I’ll also be doing tarot readings at my booth if you need some clarity around a situation in your life. Hope to see you then!
If you haven’t been to the Texas Visual Artists Association (TVAA) Downtown Gallery in a while, or if you’ve never been…it is time to go check it out for yourself! The TVAA is an extremely open, welcoming, and accepting gallery, with members who are not only talented but also genuinely supportive and collaborative. Every month there is a new show, with a new theme, and none of the original works of art are ever repeated. All new works, every month! There are a lot of great galleries in Dallas, but the TVAA is a place where you can find an amazing piece of original art that won’t break the bank.
This month, February 2019, the TVAA features a show entitled, Love and Hurt. The show is curated by a tremendous Dallas-based artist, JuJu Bartush and features paintings, drawings, watercolors, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, and assembled art. The range is phenomenal!
I am happy to announce that my painting, hindsight, was the juried recipient of 1stPlace in the show! My painted acrylic sculpture, Don’t Get Burned, was also an honorable mention recipient. Check them out while they are still in the gallery. The show runs through March 2, 2019. If you have any questions about the TVAA, the gallery, or any of the works, don’t hesitate to ask me or contact the gallery directly at www.tvaa.org. 700 N. Pearl Street in Dallas, TX at the Plaza of the Americas.

I am excited to be part of the Texas Visual Arts Association Member Show – Citation 2018 – at the Mesquite Art Center from 11/5-12/1. Hope you can make it out to the center to see some great art this month! The holidays are coming 😉

I am extremely excited to be speaking with the Dallas HR Executive Breakfast Series on Tuesday! It should be a fun discussion about core values and how we can live them in our daily lives. And it is a sold out meeting!
This will kick off the second half of the year on speaking engagements. Currently, I’m scheduled to speak at conferences in Boston and Ft. Lauderdale this fall. Very exciting opportunities to share our core values vision and execution!
I am excited to be the featured solo show artist this month at the TVAA Downtown Dallas Gallery. Eight paintings will be hanging this month only in the gallery as well as a few pieces of pottery. Please check them out if you get a chance. If you’re planning a trip, let me know, maybe I can stop by and say hi!!! The TVAA downtown gallery is located in the Plaza of the Americas building on Pearl Street in downtown Dallas.
